Situation 

Our Client is a manufacturer of heavy goods or heavy-duty Trailers that are used to transport industrial goods based at Hopper-crossing in Australia. Our Client had an online presence as well through a website from which they occasionally took orders for Trailers from Hopper-crossing in Australia. The trailers are of good quality and slowly the demand started increasing across locations in Australia as Trailers were moving places.

Problem

Our client was using its online e-commerce website for taking new orders for Trailers from Hopper-crossing. Slowly due to the movement of Trailers, the demand started pouring in from all over Australia or precisely a couple of other locations as well. The client started having problems as their customers were not able to trace the location of the manufacturer’s base facility and our client wasn’t able to locate the customer location’s to feed more information.

Loss of business due to lack of information and co-ordination was there.

Solution

EkSifar(ETC) team with guidance from Ms.Harpreet worked to enhance the Trailer Manufacturer’s technological capability by first demonstrating their solution of inserting various modules to specifically support in identifying the locations, streamlining the process of order placement including drop shopping, etc.

Accordingly,

  • The website was coded (software) to open/access in some particular regions as per the need and strategy of the client.
