Excerpts from her Story

Situation 

Our Client is a promising Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain having headquarters in New-Delhi and is establishing its operations in India after a successful stint in an overseas market with its operation through branches and franchises in North and East India. They endeavor to deliver fresh and tasty products to ensure gratifying food experience at home for customers.

Problem

The expansion happened quickly and the primary focus remained only on ongoing transactional issues while long term statutory compliance and healthy financials planning took a back seat. In the process there were difficulties in further expansion of the business, i.e. adding more stores by way of Franchise and retaining customers due to operational issues alongside staff attrition.

Solution

Evolvers’ team along with Ms.Sandeep was roped in to support the client. They took the typical consulting approach of understanding the "As-is" and realized that company needed a complete overhaul of their Financial and Accounting system. Operations required some fixing too.

    • building a system to control and record future transactions.

  • Statutory compliance was worked upon after creating a book of accounts.

  • Operations of the company were centralized to better manage and co-ordinate the efforts of branches and franchises.

  • Few new MIS were incorporated in the processes and some old one were modified to create a smooth flow.

  • The centralized team started co-coordinating efforts and work with branches through a regular flow of insights and information to the top management.

Outcome

Their solution to streamline financial and operational processes has helped the client to renew its working and operations. The client's goal of 100% statutory compliance is working now and management is gaining a good understanding of decision making through data and analytics on day to day basis. This helped the management to create and focus on future strategies along with a plan for growth and profitability.
